Customizable Prusa MK3 Y-axis Bearing Holder
thingiverse
Thanks to inks007 for crafting a top-notch design. I encountered some challenges with the design: When I installed the y-axis on my new MK3s, I noticed that it was rubbing against the frame. A photo of the issue is attached. After mastering OpenSCAD, I figured out how to tweak the design to resolve the problem. The revised version now fits perfectly without any friction. To make this design work for everyone, just adjust one parameter: bearing_od_loosen - adjust it according to the bearing, printer settings, and filament material. Here's what you'll need for this design: 6x M3 screws, 16mm-18mm long. (Use washers with the 18mm screws or they will hit the frame) 6x M3 nuts
