Customizable Phone Charger/Stand

This is a fully customizable phone stand and charging station. When designing this project, several key features were prioritized: quick and easy one-motion charging, unobstructed access to the phone screen and buttons while docked, stability that prevents tipping over during insertion or removal, and an attractive appearance. The initial design was created in Carrara, a 3D modeling software, but it was specific to the user's original phone model. As their phone has since been replaced, they decided to recreate the design using OpenSCAD, making it available for public use. This design relies on a Micord 90-degree USB cable, which is low profile and allows for a more compact stand that is both stable and visually appealing. The design assumes the use of an M4 x 8mm or 6-32 x 1/4" bolt for attachment, depending on user preference. The current default settings are optimized for a Moto-G6 with a Spigen Rugged Armor case. If you discover successful measurements, kindly share them so they can be added to the design for public use. Currently, this design supports Micord adapters only. However, Micord now offers a right-angle Lightning charger compatible with iPhones. This is assumed to have the same thickness (7mm) as other chargers and may work for iPhone users; if you test it, please share your results. If you have another adapter in mind, feel free to suggest it. For optimal print quality and finish, ABS material is recommended, along with vapor-smoothing. A good heated bed is necessary, which should be cleaned with acetone before printing to prevent warping.
