Customizable Pet Food Tray (or bath). Self assembling (print in place)
thingiverse
This tray attaches quickly and securely to a pet cage using print-in-place fixings that hold tight on both horizontal and vertical bars. Align the fixings with the gaps in the cage, then twist 90 degrees to lock them firmly in place. I use this tray with my birds, but it will also work perfectly for hamsters or other small pets. However, please note that you must print with food-safe plastic (such as PLA) and ensure your pet doesn't chew on or eat the tray. This tray is designed for dry food only. It can be used as a water bath, but the water should not stagnate, and it must be thoroughly cleaned and stored when not in use. If you plan to use it as a water bath, print with an 8% over-extrusion (extruder multiplier of 1.08) to make it watertight. To achieve this, increase the tessellation tolerance value in the customizer to around 0.4 to ensure the parts still move smoothly despite the slightly enlarged dimensions caused by over-extrusion. Before printing this tray, take precise measurements from your pet's cage using a vernier caliper for accurate results.
