Customizable Parts Drawer
thingiverse
This is an OpenSCAD file designed to create drawers compatible with Cruzher's Small Items Organizer found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1666929. It also works well for WSchadow's remixes at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2008502 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2010577.\r\n\r\nI've included a drawer with 4 rows of partitions, featuring rows of 4, 3, 3, and 2 partitions. Additionally, a standard 4x3 drawer and an experimental, more complex drawer that I find useful for storing oddball parts are provided.\r\n\r\nThe main advantage is the ability to have different numbers of partitions across each row in the drawer. For example, two rows of three partitions followed by three rows of four are easily created. This allows M3 screws, including long ones, to be stored together without tiny ones being placed on oversized partitions. With some experimentation, as seen in my parts_drawer_exp_1 file, even complex layouts become possible. If you dislike the label holders, it's simple to comment them out. Making the drawer taller or wider for a different holder is also relatively straightforward.
