Customizable Obelisk
thingiverse
This is a highly customizable obelisk that offers users total control over various elements, including text, font, aspect ratio, height and style. The included STL files feature the name "DrXenocide" transliterated into numerous languages. Furthermore, the program accepts four-digit Unicode characters such as "\u012E". To ensure a seamless fit within the cartouche, the font size is automatically scaled. The hieroglyphics are presented in "Hieroglyphy" by Barmee, which was copyrighted in 2000 and can be accessed at http://www.fontspace.com/barmee/hieroglify. The Mayan hieroglyphics, on the other hand, are displayed using "Ny Maya" by Listemageren, a font copyrighted in 1997 that is available at http://ufonts.com/fonts/ny-maya.html. For all other transliterations, users can rely on the tool provided by http://transliterations.info. Possible future enhancements to this customizable obelisk include: * Expanding text towards the bottom * Adding a pedestal feature * Creating a custom pedestal within the Customizer * Developing a font list dropdown menu If you have any additional suggestions or requests, please feel free to leave a comment.
