Customizable Modular Mini Drawer System

An extremely versatile modular drawer system. Parts are designed to use minimal filament, with the attached sample STLs showing how the 3x4 frame uses about 118g and the 1x4 drawer for that frame about 28g. Please utilize the OpenSCAD file or customizer, as the attached STLs are for demonstration purposes only. The concept behind this modular system is to: 1. Set the outer dimensions of one drawer module, which should remain constant so modules can be easily stacked. 2. Print multiple drawer modules with the same outer dimensions but variable numbers of slots to accommodate different drawer sizes. 3. Print drawers for a drawer module with subdividers as needed, allowing the drawers to automatically fit the specified module. If you want to stack the modules more permanently, they can be "sewn" together using a bit of thread (see attached photo). A small 3D-printable tool is included to make threading through the mesh easier. There are many customization options available to ensure the drawers fit your specific needs: - Drawer module width, height, and depth - Number of compartments for drawers in a module (horizontal and vertical) - Meshed wall thickness of drawer modules (default 1.6mm recommended) - Hole size that makes up the mesh - Subcompartment number along width and length for each drawer - Height of subdivider between subcompartments (for narrow compartments, lower height allows easier access) - Drawer wall and floor thickness - Handle length, height, and angle from the body of the drawer Adding a small rubber bumper pad to the bottom of each drawer (see photo) that fits in between the bars of the mesh works well to prevent drawers from accidentally slipping out.
