Customizable Measuring Cylinder
thingiverse
This measuring cylinder can measure multiple unit systems simultaneously, and it is fully customizable. I preconfigured Metric, Imperial, and US volume units in advance, but I'm not entirely certain that I used the correct ones for US and Imperial. For US, I utilized teaspoon, tablespoon, fluid ounce, gill, and cup markings, while for Imperial, I employed fluid dram, fluid ounce, and gill markings. In contrast, I placed the Metric markings at 5ml, 10ml, 50ml, and 100ml intervals. These can be easily modified by adjusting the arrays that describe each measurement system, with the first element in each array representing the first system and the second element representing the second, etc. I printed them with a resolution of 0.3mm, which works well. If you plan to use this measuring cylinder for liquids, make sure to print it using waterproof material. A transparent filament would be more sensible, but I didn't have one available at the time. Edit: I discovered a workaround for the Customizer bug, and labels are now being generated correctly. The names of the units can now be entered as a string separated by commas.
