Customizable Makerfront i3Pro Glass Bed Corner Bracket
thingiverse
I had my glass precision-cut to the maximum size my printer could accommodate, as well as the largest PEI sheet available. As a result, my print area isn't a standard dimension, but rather a customized space that requires a tailored approach. To achieve this, I developed a bracket that can be easily customized to fit my specific needs. With good measurements and a little trial and error, I was able to create the perfect-sized bracket for my glass. This bracket does not secure the glass in place, but rather prevents it from moving in both the x and y directions. For users who want to replicate this design, OpenScad (a free software tool) can be used to customize and modify the bracket. Once the design is finalized, export it as an STL file and then use a preferred slicer (such as Slic3r) to prepare it for printing. Finally, send the generated g-code directly to your printer for seamless printing.
