I Wanted a Gift Container with More Charm. Since My Lid Was Already in Great Shape and Functioning Well, I Just Needed This New Jar. Check Out the Lid: it's on the Page: Container with Knurled Lid. The new design doesn't just look better – it improves the container greatly too! With the same amount of filament used, you can get about double the volume compared to my original jar, while maintaining similar stability levels. That makes it perfect for larger containers as well. Why not try printing both designs yourself? Instructions Print The Lid As Usual. Print the container without infill and with no top layer using a shell thickness of about 1mm (diameter 20-60mm) or 1.25mm (75 & 100mm diameter). Your nozzle size should dictate your settings. If You Feel That Your Bottom Layer Is Too Thin, Consider A Thicker Option: For 20-25mm diameters: set thickness to 1mm For 30-40mm diameters: try 1.5mm thickness For 50-60mm diameters: go for 2mm thickness For 75 & 100 mm diameter: set to 2.5mm Slicing Software is Essential Too – I Recommend Checking CURA or Slic3r out! After trying both slicers, i Found That Slic3r Produced Excellent Results But Maybe I Misinterpreted Some Setting on the CURA Side Always double-check The Container Before You Start Printing It. Use the Layer View To Do This. Set your Customizer parameters like for The Lid and You're All Set – Just Choose Your desired diameter, Set Wall thickness at 2 For Diameters Below 100mm and up to 60 At 2.5mm Thickness. If Anyone Wants To Give The Larger Version a Shot Please Share Your Feedback It Will Help a lot!
