Customizable Linear Carriage Generator

These files produce the printable components required for building a linear carriage. They can be heavily customized. The Libre Office Calc document calculates key values needed to generate the printable components. Some resulting values are labeled with variable names on the right; these values must be copied into the Parameters.scad file, which is the only OpenScad file containing modifiable parameters. Once you have customized the parameters in Parameters.scad, open "Linear Carriage Double Track Bearing Mount.scad", "Linear Carriage Double Track Motor Mount.scad" and "NutBracket.scad" with OpenScad, render them and export the three models. Before printing or cutting material, carefully verify overall part sizes to avoid generating invalid parts from incoherent values. Values in the actual files are for: 20 x 40 mm V-SLOT Linear rail 1 Nema17 stepper motor (17HS8401) 4 Delrin V Wheel Kit with spacers 1 8 mm lead screw (four starts) easily available from Chinese suppliers 1 flexible 8mm - 5mm coupler 2 608ZZ bearings with an 8 mm washer 8 T-Slot inserts with M5 screws 4 M3 screws to mount the motor 5 M5 screws and nuts to mount the V Wheels 4 M3 screws and nuts to mount the nut bracket. The Nut bracket is not shown on part pictures, but the OpenScad file is provided.
