Print Settings No supports or fancy features are necessary for this design. I printed mine in PLA as an experiment to test its biodegradability in harsh outdoor conditions. So far, it has held up well except for warping on a scorching hot day (95F/35C) under direct sunlight. For better heat resistance, consider printing with ABS or other nylon filaments. Post-Printing Without a dual-extruder system, I simply painted my lettering with white acrylic paint. As an amateur painter, I was surprised at how easily I achieved crisp lines on the raised text. The customizer also includes a variable that slightly spaces out letters for easier painting and to minimize stringy messes between letters. This design is actually my first OpenSCAD project, created specifically to enable customization options.
