This iPhone car holder is unique as it mounts on the car vent and holds the phone in landscape mode. The user had trouble finding a suitable holder before they decided to create their own using a 3D printer. This customizable holder offers features such as a cable and plug channel for easy insertion, two mounting options (vent slats or CD slot), selectable cable channel profiles, and adjustable fit for different phone cases. The design uses sliding clips that allow the fit to be adjusted without reprinting large parts of the holder. It does not cover important features on the phone and has been tested with various cables and cases. Recently, a CD slot mounting option was added. Instructions for printing and installing the holder are provided, along with tips for successful printing and cable management.
