Holder/stand/dock for iPad, iPhone, and other tablets & smartphones that allows viewing tablet/phone screen hand-free. You can download and print directly or click on "Open in Customizer" to customize the model to your taste before printing. You can change base width, base length, device thickness, device inclination, dock thickness, and especially style by adjusting parameters X and Y. The default model was tested with iPhone 6/iPhone 6s, iPhone 5/iPhone 5s, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, Samsung Tab S, Sony Xperia in landscape and portrait modes. The customized "strawberry", "orange", and "kiwi" are also tested with iPhone 6, iPad Air 2, and Samsung Tab S. Printing time for the default model with one color is less than 10 minutes. To make multiple colored stripes, you can pause the printing at the right layer, change the filament with different colors, then continue, and repeat again for other colors. For example, if printing with 0.3mm layer thickness for the default model, there would be 54 layers to be printed; you can change the filaments at the end of layer 18 and layer 36 to make three colored stripes. You can change base width, for example, if you want a wider-based holder, and having more colored stripes. You can change base length, especially to support big devices or portrait mode. You can change device thickness, for example, to suit your thicker tablet. You can change device inclination. Note that increasing inclination of the device should be accompanied by increasing base length, so that the device will not tip over. You can change dock thickness. Thicker docks are stronger. And finally, you can also change style and rigidity of the dock by adjusting Backing X and Backing Y. Try different combinations for yourself to see some possibilities. The length unit is millimeter, and the angle unit is degree.
