Customizable hygienic Oral-B holder
thingiverse
This Oral-B holder was crafted with sanitation at its core. The brush is secured firmly to the handpiece's mount, ensuring it never comes into contact with anything else while mounted. Any excess water simply drips down onto the sink below. This design allows for complete customization, particularly when it comes to the number of brush holders. To secure this holder to the wall, thick tape can be used or you can opt for a more traditional approach by drilling mounting holes and using screws. I employed a Lohmann adhesive sample provided by a friend, but power strips should also suffice. Alternatively, you could rely on good old-fashioned screws for added stability. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm or better Infill: 40% Notes: This holder was printed using PLA, and after eight months of use, I haven't noticed any significant corrosion. For optimal results, it's best to print with a brim, 1.2mm wall strength, and support as shown in the last two screenshots. This might result in a slightly less clean appearance compared to printing on a standing mount, but it significantly enhances structural integrity by aligning layers with the holder's arms. My first attempt at printing this design directly on the base was short-lived due to a weak layer.
