This customizable version of the Hilbert curve, a space-filling curve boasting several one-of-a-kind properties like preserving groupings, has just gotten even better. Its ability to fill every inch of space with precision and its mesmerizing appearance have captured everyone's imagination. Implemented: • Iterations: I made it easier for users to adjust this setting, ensuring more control over the outcome (4/19/15) • Spacing Options: The added option to separate beam sizes from corner sizes gives even more possibilities (4/20/15) • Randomization Features: Adding in options to randomize key settings has enhanced the tool's versatility (4/20/15) • Readable Code Comments: It is now simpler for developers to understand and maintain the code with detailed comments (4/20/15) The community's input matters, so feel free to suggest even more functionalities! However, there are a few features that won't be included: • Precise Edge Length Calculation: Implementing this would increase processing time significantly for no reason other than a desire for exact measurements. • Support Structures: They can easily be generated by other software programs; hence, implementing it here wouldn't add much value and could be cumbersome. Approximate Processing Times (based on the default parameters, assuming only iteration # is changed): * 0 or 1 Iteration: Processing Time: almost Instant * Between 5 and 10 iterations: Time Required is roughly under a minute.
