Some time ago I installed the spool holder from CuriousTech on my Anycubic i3 Mega printer because I have limited space next to the machine. This system works really well, but now the filament sometimes hangs in front of the camera attached to the heating carriage and has already gotten tangled with it. That's why I designed a new filament guide using OpenSCAD software. This part is attached to the extruder side mount of the spool holder. The guide is secured with an M4 screw and nut, and additional support comes from a pin via the second hole. The stability is completely sufficient for my needs. On top of the guide, I added a dust filter, which was downloaded from Thingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2349995). It's perfect!
