Customizable Filament Gland
thingiverse
Storage box filament gland with two holes. I spaced them to roughly match the spacing of the extruders on my i3 MK2-MMU. As long as you don't change the base size, you should only have to print one jig, which is just the plate piece with holes. The large holes are 10mm and the smaller corner holes are 5.2mm. I used a 3/8" twist drill bit for the larger holes, and 13/64" twist drill bit for the smaller holes, and then dremeled the large ones out a bit to make the fit easier. Hardware Used: - M5-0.8 heat-set inserts (8x per pair) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0754MY5H8/ - M5-4 push-in fittings (4x per pair) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00RN3KKWA/ - M5-0.8 screws of sufficient length (4x per pair, I used M5x10mm) **UPDATE 2018-07-11**: Added a version with just one filament opening and revised the previous design
