This plate, designed by jridley (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:168586), attaches to the fan and can be extended to connect to the printer. Customizable options include fan size (40mm, 50mm, 60mm, or 80mm) and screw hole dimensions. Users may also choose the mounting tab's position, its length, and the angle of the mounting screw. A full plate or a lighter version with two-screw fan mounting are available. The default .stl accommodates a 40mm fan with central mounting tab, 20mm extension from flat end to cylinder center, and #6 screws.
