
Customizable Electronics Enclosure

<p>An OpenSCAD electronics enclosure designed to hold one rectangular PCB. The default settings are for the following:<br>-PCB w/ 100mm x 40mm mounting hole spacing<br>-SPAX #8 1 in. pan head screws for cover<br>-M3-0.5 threaded heat set inserts for PCB (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077CJV3Z9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1)</p><p>When printing this enclosure, please be mindful of the application. If you will be operating high voltages in the enclosure, be sure to use a filament with suitable dielectric and flammability properties and ensure there are proper clearances.</p><p>This OpenSCAD model is a modification of CanisVolans' “Customizable Enclosure” where the PCB is no longer held between the cover and the mounting feet; instead, the PCB has its own standoffs/feet and the original mounting feet are flush with the step for the cover.</p><p><strong>Update 23 Oct 2022:</strong><br><strong>*_v2</strong></p><p>Added a new version of the configurable enclosure that adds the ability to add up to 4 of each of the following features:</p><ul><li>Standoffs<ul><li>A set of 4 configurable standoffs that can be placed on the lid or the base of the enclosure.</li></ul></li><li>Keystones<ul><li>A 2D array of keystones that can be placed on any side (except base and lid) of the enclosure.</li></ul></li><li>Entry Holes<ul><li>Round, round with flats, and rectangular holes in the enclosure that can include a set of 2 or 4 configurable mounting holes that can be placed on any side of the enclosure.</li></ul></li><li>Vent (only 1, not 4)<ul><li>A 2D array of round holes that that can be placed on the lid or the base of the enclosure.</li></ul></li></ul><p>A JSON file was also included with an example that demonstrates most of the features available on many of the different surfaces of the enclosure.</p>
