Customizable E3D Titan mounting bracket
thingiverse
I've received the wrong version of titan extruder delivered, though fortunately replaced promptly by the nice folks at e3d. Having a mirrored extruder isn't absolutely critical for me, but mounting it using the stock bracket was impossible - I have to admit, ordering one was a silly mistake on my part. Additionally, the upgraded motor, being shorter, can't be mounted with its connector facing sideways when using the original bracket (this issue could be fixed with a cutter knife). In the meantime, while e3d replaced the extruder in no time, I designed this bracket, which I think is very close to the stock version with cutouts for the motor connector - although, I haven't seen any dimensions anywhere and was too lazy to measure the STL. At any rate, the SCAD file allows you to customize everything, even though the customizer form only has two values to tune, which are the thicknesses of the two mounting plates that one can adjust according to their particular mounting circumstances. I may be adding more to the customizer later if there's demand, but downloading the SCAD file and tuning it is an option already.
