This adaptable clamp secures two rods in place, frequently employed in optics laboratories. The default STL models accommodate rods of 8 and 12mm diameters, secured by M3 bolts and nuts. Inspired by the [Open-source Optics Project](http://www.appropedia.org/Open_source_optics), this component seeks to drastically lower the cost of scientific optical hardware, a mission led by the [Michigan Tech's Open Sustainability Technology Research Group](http://www.mse.mtu.edu/MOST). Now featuring an updated 45-degree rod option.
