Customizable Drill Depth Stop

Customizable Drill Depth Stop

**UPDATE**: *I added a string parser that accepts fractions, decimals, or integers for a size, allowing you to specify units. If no unit is specified, it guesses based on the value passed in - 3/8 defaults to inches, but 4.5 defaults to mm. The label now accurately reflects the inputted size.* This is a drill stop designed to control how deep a drill hole goes. I've attached models for common imperial sizes, and you can use the customizer to generate any other size you need. You'll require 6-32 or M4 bolts to fasten these - at least 3/8 or 10mm long. A nut is not necessary; the bolt should be able to self-tap itself into place. If issues arise, you can always drill the screw hole with a 9/32" bit and use a nut. In this case, the nut measurement should be the height of the nut when stood up on its side - it's not the corner-to-corner measurement. The fit is quite tight; you can actually use the drill to smooth out the inside if it becomes too tight. I've added 0.2mm play in the updated scad file, but this feature isn't included in the prebuilt models. I did chamfer the bottom of the model to prevent bottom layer overprint issues. To make the label more visible, you can switch filaments at the 10.6mm mark. I used 100% infill with PLA and achieved good results. However, ABS might be a better option if you plan on drilling many holes due to its higher heat tolerance. (UPDATE: After conducting heat tests, I found that PETG doesn't perform well under high temperatures.)
