Customizable Version of Check-Source Holder/Detector Cap This version is designed for use with HPGe detectors. To ensure a proper fit, do not forget to add necessary tolerances specific to your 3D printer. Additionally, consider thermal expansion when using this cap with an HPGe or similar chilled detector. Parameters (mm): Resolution (fn) = resolution of the model Total Cap Height = overall depth of the cap Inner Diameter Face Thickness Standoff Width = width of the ring around the inner perimeter to prevent source contact with the fragile window on some detectors. Standoff Depth = depth of the standoff, as described above. Sidewall Thickness Source Diameter = diameter of the hole for the button source Source Mount Depth = depth of the hole for the source Through Hole Diameter = diameter of the hole through the face for easy source removal. Breather Holes = True/False - small holes for air pressure equalization to protect the detector window during mounting and removal. Breather Diameter = diameter of the breather holes - if larger than the standoff depth, they will cut into the inner face surface.
