Recently, our university network has become severely erratic.\nI created a Windows adaptation of the modeling web service.\nPlease, visit http://facebook.com/lithopia for downloading and accessing additional updates.\nThanks,\nJM\nUpon realizing how appealing making things with 3D printers can be, I wanted to contribute to this community as a skilled programmer.\nI built this web service alongside my graduate students so that users can design and 3D-print high-quality cylinder lithophanes in a seamless manner.\nWe anticipate that you will thoroughly enjoy using this resource!\nhttp://maker.dongguk.edu/cylinder_lithophane/index.html\nThe sample STL file was created from a 768x180 resolution image for expedited upload purposes. For authentic printing, I strongly recommend crafting your own lamp with images having a resolution of at least 1024x240. Due to system constraints, the current maximum allowed resolution is 1536x360.\nOur "Smoothing" option enables users to customize their print patterns, eliminating the need for external support during the printing process. Typically, we utilize 5 smoothing iterations by default.\n\n\n \n \n Getting Started\nLaunch your preferred web browser and access the web service at http://210.94.199.44/litho_client/index.html to drag-and-drop the image you wish to carve onto a cylinder. Users may also choose to modify various parameters such as the cylinder's radius, print thickness, etc.
With this file you will be able to print Customizable cylinder lithophane lamp with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Customizable cylinder lithophane lamp.
