Customisable Holder for Tablet & Phone, Perfect Fit for Ford Fiesta 2008-2016 and Ford Ecosport 2013-2016. This innovative holder has three key parts: a base and two identical ends. Choose "Base" or "End" to generate the STL file for the base part or the end part. After printing, simply plug the ends onto the base, allowing your tablet or phone to fit securely inside. Then, insert the entire assembly into the CD slot. Both the base and the ends can be customised to suit your device's unique specifications. You can download pre-defined STL files for the base and three types of ends. These pre-defined parts are designed to work seamlessly together, with one end accommodating devices up to 8mm thick, another up to 9mm, and a third up to 10mm. When customising your holder, ensure that you use identical values for BaseWidth, BaseThickness, and BaseHeight on both the base and ends. This will guarantee a smooth fit between the parts. If you encounter difficulties, adjust the Tolerance setting as needed. For example, if the fit is too tight, slightly increase the Tolerance; if it's too loose, reduce it. If your device requires additional clearance, consider two solutions: reducing the BaseHeight or increasing the EndSpacer. Alternatively, add an external spacer of your choice to ensure a comfortable fit for your tablet or phone. To prevent obstructing the car information screen, set EndSpacer to zero if desired. When removing the holder from the CD slot, it can be easily pulled out without any issues. However, please note that playing a CD while using this holder is possible; just refrain from ejecting the disc, as it may become jammed inside. For added convenience, you can cut the base into two halves if your printer's height limit exceeds its capacity. Print each half separately and assemble them according to the last photo provided. For optimal results, consider using a delta printer with a minimum printing height of 30cm or more. To ensure durability in hot car interiors, we recommend using ABS material over PLA. This will provide superior heat resistance for your customisable tablet & phone holder.
