Use this carousel to dispense pills, portion treats, ration items and more. It provides 8 compartments that you can subdivide in half, thirds or quarters. Add dividers anywhere you choose. When used as a pill dispenser the eighth compartment provides a closed position where all days are covered. Add center dividers for AM/PM, or thirds for breakfast/lunch/dinner. The carousel prints in place, fully assembled and ready to turn. Print dividers, the label plate and cover separately. All parts snap together. A label plate for days of the week in English is supplied. Edit the attached Fusion 360 file to create your own custom labels. Print instructionsUse any appropriate filament. If using PrusaSlicer, select the "0.30mm DRAFT" print settings. You can reduce infill to 15%. No supports or brims are needed. Print the carousel and knob first. The supplied knob is identical to the one on an MK3S. If you prefer, use any of the custom MK3 knobs available at PrusaPrinters instead. Apply some turning force to free up the internal gears; afterwards the carousel should rotate freely. Next, print one divider. Orient the divider such that the ears on the sides enter the slot and check that the piece snaps securely in place. If needed, edit the attached Fusion 360 file to adjust tolerances. Then add instances to the plater to print the remaining dividers all at once. For the label plate, optionally add a color change at 0.80mm to highlight your text in a different color. Snap the label plate in place after adding the dividers to ensure that it is rotated correctly. Press from the back to remove. Finally, print the cover. It snaps securely in place. To remove, lift up on one end near the crank, then continue freeing the cover around the circumference.
