Customizable Bubbler airlock
thingiverse
This is a simple "bubbler" style dual-chamber airlock for home brewing. Note: I'm still having trouble getting prints to reliably hold liquid, but I'm pretty sure it'll work if I print in PETG. With PLA, I'm giving myself trouble. Update 2017-09-10: A new cider season is here so I've had a chance to do more testing and tweaking. I adjusted the model slightly for a "flatter" shape and tested with PETG. So far, natural PETG with 5 perimeters and 6 top layers at 50% infill seems to be holding up to primary fermentation pressures. You may get different results. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Makerfarm i3v 8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: Use at least 5 perimeters, and print the airlock upside down with 5-6 top layers to ensure the bottom holds liquid. Natural PLA works best.
