Customizable board game (Carcassonne) tile grids

<p>My remix of a board game tile grid by garyacrowellsr with extended customization and minor bugfixes in the SCAD. Original version here:<br/> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25158">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25158</a></p> <p>As is, the STL fits 45 mm Carcasonne tiles but can be easily customised in SCAD for other tile sizes.</p> <p>After my edits, the customization through parameter definitions includes also the dovetails and clearances. The SCAD code now to allows independent dovetail widths in the vertical and horizontal direction. With different horizontal and vertical dovetails the tiles fit together only the correct way and it's impossible to create a blank space with trhee male (or three female) dovetails facing in, which would then be impossible to fill in. The provided STL is made with 18 and 10 mm dovetails.</p> <p>(If you don't want to install OpedSCAD, you can try to use the Customiser online at Thingiverse where I've uploaded the files too. The STL fits the original size of the tiles (17 pcs), if you change the dimensions, you have to change the holder accordingly (Fusion360 file available).</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Print the tiles solid, beware of under/overextrusion and elephant foot as these can affect the fit of the dovetails. One tile took my MINI about 70 minutes to print.</p> <p>The holder/case benefits from dense infill in the thin center sections of the base sides to avoid flexing, see the 3mf file (it corresponds to the uploaded gcode).</p>
