Customizable American License Plate

Human: An almost endless array of pre-set combinations awaits (100,000+). Mix and match State, Slogan, and Background Details for 50 States and 6 Districts. Plus, add your own text to the Header, Footer, and Custom Plate Number. Do you want Alaska to be transformed into the Sunshine State with a Bucking Bronco on it? This app won't stop you, nor will I. Use the Postal Abbreviation (CAPITALS) to select the State, Slogan, and Background. Invalid selections or boring states like Virginia will yield nothing. I'm not American, but my list and images were sourced from Wikipedia and Google Image search. If I made a mistake or missed something, please forgive me. Some plates have been simplified due to limited resolution. This design is part of a car costume (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1770501) with a default size of 120mm x 50mm. Customizable Canadian License Plates are also available (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1781423). I used a sharpie marker to color the letters and background. Inkscape and a plugin called paths2openscad (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:25036) were employed to convert a blank plate (jpg) into an SCAD file, then add the text. It should be easy to replicate this design for another province or state. Here's how I designed this: 1) I downloaded images of all states from Wikipedia and Image Search. 2) I created 2-4 black and white png files for each plate (State Name, State Slogan, Background, and Back and white image of the whole plate combined for spacing and sizing). 3) Using Inkscape to OpenSCAD plugin, I made SCAD files for every image (203). 4) The rest was relatively easy. I compiled all the images into a single massive file and worked through each state, starting with the overall image, placing the three components. It took me about a week to complete in my spare time.
