Customizable aluminium profile bracket with optional inverted z-motor mount
thingiverse
This is a fully customizable version of the classic z-inverting rbase bracket found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2331965. With the added mirror option, users can now create a dual-z motor mount with ease. The design also allows for adjustments to be made to aluminium profile sizes, wall widths, and numerous other options. This is my first OpenSCAD model that offers customization capabilities. This design was primarily developed with the Tevo Tarantula in mind, but its versatility makes it suitable for use with other printers that employ aluminium profiles and Nema steppers. If you spot any calculation errors, please don't hesitate to share them with me so I can make the necessary corrections. My previous design was inspired by (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1457449) and (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2137515), for which I extend my gratitude. In the files section, you'll find an example STL file that demonstrates how to use this customizable bracket. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to print it myself due to the previous version's limitations. If you've managed to create one, I'd love to hear about your experience!
