This is a versatile tool for assessing the quality of thin walls produced by your slicer and 3D printer. Everything began when I noticed that printing thin walls on my I3V printer yielded vertical layers with no inter-adhesion, resulting in extremely fragile walls. I employed it to compare the results of Slic3r 1.2.4 (my original slicer) and Cura 14.09, and discovered that the issue is specific to Slic3r, while Cura successfully fills in between vertical layers, producing stiffer walls.
