Customizable 19" Rackmount
thingiverse
This OpenSCAD library serves as a foundation for creating your own custom 19" rackmount that can be easily printed. Use customizer variables or modify the "panel" module in the .scad file to add a cutout on the front that fits your device(s). The optional stabilizer (you need two, with the second one needing to be mirrored in your slicer software) enhances stability of the entire rackmount. Prototypes will be printed in the next days, and hopefully, there will be some real-life pictures soon. Update: A "production print" was made to integrate two Ubiquiti PoE injectors into the rack. It worked quite well, but it is suggested to move the "connection holes" further forward (the holes that connect each of the rackmount segments with each other). When adding pressure from the bottom (which won't happen in a rack...), the segments will move apart and create a gap at the top (especially when using PETG...). Increasing the wall thickness may help to reduce flexibility of the whole rackmount.
