Customiser: YATMFG - Yet Another Top Mounted Filament Guide for Prusa i3 Pro B
thingiverse
A customized L profile beam designed with two mount tabs and a pair of eyelets to run filament through the display. This design was created in response to a poorly separated eyelet issue found on a similar model (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1320277) that has been published as .stl only, making customization extremely difficult. Rather than trying to alter the original file, I have re-designed the beam with increased eyelet separation, eliminating filament obstruction and display issues. The design's similarities with the aforementioned model are intentional. The presets provided are optimized for a Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro B 3D printer using a 5.5mm wood/pertinax frame material and 145mm spacing between display holding screws at the top of the frame. Future improvements may include slotted mount holes in the tabs for easy vertical adjustment and offering the option to choose one, two or three eyelets, with two being easier to separate beyond display margins. Print Settings: Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm/layer, 0.4mm nozzle
