Customisable T-Slot or V-Slot Rail Cover

This slot cover was tested on rails used in Anet A2 printers. A picture of the rail tested is above. On the Anet A2, this cover is useful for running the x-axis end-stop wire separately from the x-axis belt. To achieve a nice fit, you will need to print about 30cm. I printed two 200mm lengths, which took less than half an hour. The default size of this design is 100mm long, but it can be customized by editing the SCAD file or using the Thingiverse customizer to stretch it out in your slicer. This design is released under a CC-BY-SA license - https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5. Print Settings Printer: Anet A2 Rafts: It doesn't matter. Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 100% Notes: This design was tested with PETG, which is known for bad bridging and overhangs. ABS and PLA should work well or even better. Post-Printing Trimming and Fitting You may need to trim about 2.5mm off one end as the ends tend to get bulging artifacts that can make them difficult to fit. If you are having trouble getting it to clip, start at an end and clip that first. Trimming can be done with scissors.
