Remix from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1333056

Modified to add "guide slots" in bottom of socket for pins that require them. Not having other sockets with the right pin width for the collection of modules I have, a technique I used in the past was to make my own pins out of work-hardened brass wire. Using that technique here was not possible without having alignment and registration problems. Adding guide slots in the bottom of the socket reduces the slop and aligns the pins for proper contact without shorts.

Adding guide slots should also make this model more likely to be compatible with random pins you may have access to.

Defaults and stl should be suitable for a ESP-13 aka ESP-WROOM-02 module with 0.5mm castellations and 1.5mm pin spacing. Socket shown was printed in PLA, 3 perimeters. Homemade pins bent from soft brass wire, work hardened by stretching over a mandrel, then bent in to shape with jewler's pliers.

Print instructions

Socket shown was printed in PLA, 3 perimeters on a Prusa i3 MK3s. Used otherwise "standard" settings. Unless printing a particularly large socket, or with large spacing, 3 perimeters should cause no infill to be required.

I like printing these without the "posts" so that the bottom layer gets nicely consolidated. Printing with posts does require supports, which I find conflict at times.
