Only a minor modification added to v4, enabling users to add a drop-in nut slot from the top, with M4 screws fixed in place; however, users can modify the OpenSCAD script to accommodate different screw types, including the E3D lock. Users can manually alter the screw hole size on line 118-127 within the OpenSCAD file, potentially preserving the original nut slot/pit dimensions due to existing restrictions. Currently, no visual evidence of v4's implementation exists; this modification is an update to version v3.
