I wanted OpenSCAD to generate a gear based on the number of cogs and the gear's module, allowing users to maintain consistency with their design by sticking to a specific module and simply inputting the desired cog count for the correct transmission ratio. For instance, Fischertechnik utilizes a module of 1.5, where one would merely need to specify the number of cogs required to achieve the desired gear configuration.
