Custom Steering WheelUnusual and eye-catching custom steering wheel that will fit almost no car. This eye-catching custom steering wheel design probably won't fit any known car make and I don't suggest you try it but you could hang it on a wall or in a car showroom, etc. It's a sport-sized wheel to fit on the Prusa MK3s print bed but could be scaled up for no known reason - it already takes 16 hours to print.Bonus Print:  A snap-on J. Prusa steering wheel hub.  It prints completely blank but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want to be associated with this thing in the event of a pile up.  I’ve included a JPG you can cut out and stick to the centre hub if you like.Overall dimensions (w, h, l):  317 mm x 69 mm x 285 mm FEATURES:The wheel spins freely on the hub providing not only almost frictionless power steering but also instant quick-release of the steering wheel. The outer rim and arms are flexible thereby providing an excellent grip and additionally eliminating a driver airbag.5-minute installation: Just bolt the arms to the rim and hub, screw the centre hub onto the pillar and the pillar onto the steering column of the car and drop on the steering wheel – for a bonus educational value let your 4-year-old child do this.No wiring or electronics to install.  The horn is manual (open window and shout “Prusa!”).NOTE:  Don’t bother with washers or locknuts – just tighten everything up until the plastic squeaks.  If any of the nuts crack or split, glue together with superglue (CA). MATERIALS & EQUIPMENT:Superglue (CA)Adjustable wrench (or hex spanners)Hammer (as heavy as possible)Car PRINTING:TPU – main wheel rim and armsIf you print the main wheel and/or arms in a non-flexiblematerial you will probably require an airbag.PLA – everything elseLayer height:  0.15 mmInfill:  10%Supports:  Just about everywhereBrim:  On tall bits like the bolts POST PRINTING:Remove support material and sand. ASSEMBLY:Pretty straight forward - see pics.Use superglue (CA) to join the main wheel parts together.DO NOT glue the hub to the centre_hub (as much as you might be tempted) as this will impede the frictionless power steering feature. SPECIAL NOTE ON BADGE:As the badge won't fit with the central nut in place, just leave the nut off if you use the badge - it'll be fine.Regards, Paul
