I purchased a band saw and quickly broke the insert guard, still unsure about how it happened even today. As a quick solution, I crafted a wooden replacement on a mini lathe, using this makeshift fix for nearly two years. This was the perfect opportunity to combine my 3D printer with my woodworking skills! After searching Thingiverse, I discovered a customizer tool that allowed me to design a custom insert guard specifically for my band saw. After just a couple of prints, I had a direct replacement for my Rikon 10-305 tabletop band saw.
