This is a customized collection cup designed specifically for creating an efficient home protein skimmer. To get started, you'll need a plastic tube with an inner diameter of exactly 2.75 inches, a rubber band or o-ring, an air pump that delivers consistent airflow, and a wooden air stone to provide optimal oxygenation. The inner guide tube and suction cup mount are optional features that can be added based on your specific needs and preferences. I personally use mine in my biocube 29 tank with great results once it's been properly broken in and adjusted to perfection. The design is highly adaptable, allowing you to adjust the diameter to suit your unique requirements - it should scale well from a minimum of 2 inches up to a maximum of 4 inches.
