Custom Positive Air Pressure Mask

Final Update 20190729 This is as good as I'm going to get one that went over my nose. If anyone else wants to take it, remix away! I'm currently working on tuning one that goes under my nose but with a gap, so it will push air in that way, still fitting over my mouth. Have at it all! Update 20190705 0732 I just finished printing the latest iteration. The seal should be better with different angles, I added the same weather stripping foam. Right now, I’m just letting the super glue dry. I’ll probably spray paint on some sealant just to help seal some small gaps due to the filet, as well as not having my ender 3 super dialed in. It probably wouldn’t have it at .1 layer instead of .2. Also, upping the infill since I will try sleeping on it with it being PLA instead of TPU. My biggest fight at night is both leakage around the nose and the boxiness of it causing discomfort. Hopefully the filet of the top will make it easier to sleep with. I am leaving the previous version files up just so you all can see what the progress has been like. Update 20190701 19:07 It has finished printing, I added some weather stripping with super glue to add both cushion and help with the sealing. Tonight, the test. Thank you all for joining me on this journey Update 2016-06-27 11:43 I'm uploading some slightly redone files, started the box from scratch, smoothed edges, smoothed pipes (mostly) and hoping this will use less filament. If you want to try printing it, this time I'm going to try with the strap holes down to use less support tree. Update 2019-06-27 09:36 Eastern US It finished printing, it just took 38:06:42 to print... the ridges around the nose are a little painful, I will have to take a little more off the top "corners" that I already rounded down some. Also, I need to figure out how to strap it to the face. Next print, I think I will use less infill, which *should* make it softer (I think) and also find ways of making it use less plastic, maybe slanting from thicker chin region to more narrow nose, but that opens up other questions... So, more to come. Also, TPU tree support pieces are my new favorite little doodads Also, I saw there were lots of downloads of this already. What do you all think so far? If you are going to be downloading, I'm versioning using datestamps instead of v1, v2, etc. So, try the most recent. Designing my own mask to save money. This is still a work in progress, this is just where I'm at right now. I am about to do my first TPU print after quite a few iterations from simple boxes in PLA to get the initial measurements right. Here's hoping! Printing now: 38 hours and 43 minutes remaining...
