Thanks! https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/jensterJ97 This is a little box/housing for a GX16 panel mount connector which allows you to have a quick disconnect between your custom steering wheel to your PC. The designed part was intended to be used with a USB joystick encoder board or any devices has a USB breakout cable. The idea behind this is to allow me to disconnect my wheel without having to constantly remove/plug the USB connector to my port every time I want to change my wheel. This housing mounts to a 8040 aluminium extrusion that sits around 20 degrees from the horizontal line. I added a second hole for future use. Hardware x3 M3 8mm bolts x2 M8 16mm bolts x2 M8 washers x2 M8 T-slot nuts/standard nuts (depending on the design of the 8040 profile) Things to look out for: 1. On the main housing piece, you will need to drill out the 3 holes with a 2.8mm drill bit and screw in the M3 bolts to cut in the threads. This shouldnt be a problem because you will not be constantly removing the bolt to the enclosure. You may be able to use a file to allow the M8 bolt to fit through the hole. 2. If required, drill out the holes on the cover plate with a 3mm drill bit 3. You may need to file the square cut out on the cover playe to allow the strain relief of the USB breakout cable to sit properly
