Custom Naked 3D Maze Pack (0% Infill, No Support)
thingiverse
This is an assortment pack of 3D mazes I created using pcpthm's openscad and rust program which employs prim's algorithm based on size and randomness seed parameters. Getting started with openscad, rust, and the program can be quite a challenge for someone who prefers to simply 3D print readily available STLs of 3D mazes. This pack includes three 3x3x3s, three 4x4x4s, one 5x5x5, six 6x6x6s, seven 7x7x7s, eight 8x8x8s, and the octahedral marble. (3x3=easy, 4x4=normal, 5x5=hard, 6x6=extreme...) I will update with more or larger sizes if people can solve the other ones. To make the mazes more solvable, I recommend using white PLA if not clear PETG filament, paired with a dark marble. They don't require infill or support and can be printed at high speeds. (3x3=1 hour, 4x4=3 hours...) Use water flow to eliminate stringing. If you're experiencing difficulty, use your slicer's layer viewer mode to visualize the sections. I designed a full 3D Xray solution in SketchUp for the first 4x4x4 maze (PIC as the remix's thumbnail). Remember, If you give up, simply blow through the tube!
