Custom Lightsaber

Custom Lightsaber

This is a lightsaber my friend drew up and I modelled and printed. I remixed it off of 3DPRINTINGWORLD's collapsing lightsaber because I wanted to make sure the blade actually worked. Feel free to take this design and change it a bit. There are a couple of things I would like to fix on it so don't be mad if it doesn't work: - The belt clip. I took a couple of covertech designs and added it to this. Somehow I couldn't add their designs in as remixed so I used https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2609352 and https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4741141 Anyways, the problem is when I printed the supports might not have allowed the hangar to print as nice and didn't slide into the belt clip as expected. With a little bit of sanding it was able to work just fine. - The cap. I understand that when you twist it on the diamond shapes might not line up with the body. That was a design issue on my part. If it bugs you, take some paint or nail polish, something that you can stack layers of, and put a couple coats on the top of the cap and bottom of the body. It should line up okay by lowering the cap a little on the threads. Huge shoutout to 3DPRINTINGWORLD for the original design. For the blade for this lightsaber, you can find it in his design.
