Custom Labels
thingiverse
Based on the idea from here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3199259 (I have another addition which is a direct customization/remix of this entry). In this case I rewrote the SCAD code from scratch to render the baseplate differently, and expand the configurability options available. General-purpose and customizable label, sign, or plaque, it generates a base plate with up to 3 lines of writing and optional screw holes. Options are available in the code to: - Add up to 3 lines of text, with specified font, font size, rule alignment, and character spacing. - Change the width or height of the base plate. - Add holes at the top/bottom or left/right of the baseplate (or none at all). - Change the size of the holes. - Render the base plate of each line of text separately, so they can be exported as individual STL's for color printing on a dual extruder printer or with Palette from Mosaic.
