Create your own personalized light strands by utilizing Adafruit LED pixels (http://learn.adafruit.com/12mm-led-pixels/overview). The provided designs feature nine diverse bulb patterns and an LED holder, ensuring a perfect fit for the LEDs within each bulb base. To assemble, drill 5/8" holes at the bottom of each bulb to accommodate the LEDs. For printing, use a setting that generates a two-layer shell without interior fill. Moreover, download modified code from Adafruit to program the lights in a continuous random color-changing sequence. Don't forget to install the necessary utility files from Adafruit in your Arduino libraries directory.
