Custom hair clip
thingiverse
We were in urgent need of a hair grip that could be customized specifically for my sister to wear on her wedding day. This is where the 3D comb piece comes in, featuring an edge along its back that's thinner than any standard commercially available options and has a unique hole-pattern design perfect for threading decorative elements through.\nAttached photos showcase the printed clip, the completed clip, and it being used at my sister's wedding - what a fantastic look!\n\n \n \n Instructions to Bring Your Project to Life I managed to print this intricate piece using my up printer with layers set to 0.2mm and a clear material chosen for its durability. To achieve a smooth finish, I treated it with acetone vapor but an equally effective approach is to simply use fine-grained sandpaper (grade 200 or higher) to polish between the teeth. If you prefer to go with the acetone method, ensure you allow plenty of time for the item to fully re-harden to guarantee the structural integrity of the teeth; I waited two days before it became solid enough.\nWith these tips, you're all set to have a great time!
