Custom GI Joe Cobra Rage / Fury Dashboard

Custom GI Joe Cobra Rage / Fury Dashboard

thingiverse

The GI Joe & Cobra vehicle entries of the late eighties tended to get a bit...unusual, but one of the ones that I generally liked was the 1990 Cobra Rage (later also re-released as the Cobra Fury in 2010). There still were a few design elements that I didn't like, and one of the bigger ones was the lack of a dashboard. This one mostly just pops into place but there is one rib on the lower chassis that needs to be trimmed down in order to fit. It should be pretty stable and no glue should be needed otherwise. I printed mine in resin, and I had difficulty getting the gauges to show in FDM even with 0.1. The steering wheel is from an AWE Striker and just plugs in with a friction fit. I did use parts from the following models to create this: Cowl induction hood for Silverado Dually Cab https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2574033 Land Rover Defender Dashboard 1:18 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2827027 ***** LICENSE NOTES: Please note that the license for this model is non-commercial.
