custom gear bearing
thingiverse
This model is based on a Customized version of the design from Thingiverse, with Thing ID #53451. Created using their Customizer tool. Below are some Instructions and Options used: To begin, select from the following: Nine teeth on each planet were set. Planetary orbit twist at 1 turn per unit time was assumed. The allowed deviation in tooth alignment was 0.3 degrees. Next, configure: Five planets will make up this model's total count. An estimated nine thousand teeth will surround our sun-like core, although exact counts can't be known due to its immense size. We start at a width of six point four meters, or forty-four inches, across the diameter at base. In its highest position, forty-five degrees is how high it stands against our surroundings in vertical axis from bottom base line. At maximum reach on an imaginary surface level for reference: Eight times wider as total span length; or one forty to scale ratio over sun's mean distance.
