Special thanks to 2LBN and averypierce who masterminded the components used to craft the controller! This is a versatile game pad designed for electronic projects, based on the innovative Wiimote holder created by 2LBN. It has ample space for two buttons, several LEDs, a MPU6050 gyro sensor, and an ESP32. Power supply is handled via a simple two-wire cable connection, but we're eager to explore alternative solutions with batteries. We utilized the game pad as a controller for a personal project, implementing Pong in a multiplayer version on a 16x32 LED matrix. The communication protocol involves BLE and Wifi / MQTT connectivity. We envision numerous other applications where this game pad could shine! To ensure seamless backwards compatibility, we've included updated button files in case of any changes to the original designs. Additionally, Blender files are provided for anyone interested in modifying the controller.
